CANDLE CARE
INSTRUCTIONS
Wooden wicks require a little extra care and patience than the traditional cotton wick.
When lighting your candle, avoid having a direct flame on the vessel (BBQ lighter or long match recommended)
Very important - on the first burn, allow the wax pool to reach the edges of the vessel (3-4 hours) before extinguishing it + ideally each burn afterwards. This helps prevent candle tunneling.
Before each relight, always trim the wick to 1/8". If not properly trimmed, the wick may not light.
If you notice the flame height getting too low after burning it for some time, you may need to trim the wick and relight it again.
SAFETY
WARNING
Remove packaging before burning.
Burn within sight.
Keep away from flammable materials, children and pets.
Trim wick to 1/8″ before each relight.
Always place candle on a level heat-resistant surface.
Do not expose to drafts.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Do not move candle while burning or while wax is still hot.
Discontinue use if vessel is chipped, cracked or damaged in any way.
Stop use when only 1/2″ of wax remains.
If smoking occurs, extinguish candle, trim wick and relight.
Never extinguish candles with water.
